DESCRIPTION:Lecturer: Andreas Schmidt (Singleron) \nIn this talk Andreas will share personal insights from the perspective of an entrepreneur\, chat about career decisions in biotech as well as offer a view behind the curtains of venture capital funding and pharma partnering. This will be an interactive sessions with questions and discussions very welcome. \nDr Andreas Schmidt is an international biotech business leader\, serial entrepreneur & CEO building deep tech startups originating in Asia\, Europe and the US. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Singleron Biotechnologies heading their global business development with a focus on applying single cell technologies for clinical and pharma partnering in precision medicine. Beyond that he is involved in multiple start up companies as board member\, mentor or shareholder as well as investment committee member of public and private venture funding fonds. His main focus lies on multi-omics and data-based technologies paving the way for new cell\, gene and personalized therapies. \nThe event will be staged as hybrid event: in CRTD seminar room 1/2 and online via Zoom (link will be published in due time)
