DESCRIPTION:Location: Zellescher Weg 21\, 01217 Dresden \nDay 1 – 16/09/2024\, start: 9 am\, end: 5 pm \nIntroduction to the topic of „Industrial property rights“ (focus on technical property rights\, especially patents)\n– From scientific manuscript to patent: structure of a patent specification\, creation/construction of a patent specification (classification\, generic term\, organisation of claims\, etc.); delimitation and tactical considerations of the declaration of the invention as a product\, process\, use; necessity of carrying out freedom-to-operate searches\nIP canvas for creating the individual research groups‘ own IP portfolios: Using the IP Canvas\, participants will work through key questions to analyse the current state of your IP\, identify gaps and define core elements of their IP strategies. \nAt the end of day 1 and on day 2 – 17/09/2024 (start: 9 am): Individual group meetings per project and team. Content is the evaluation of the IP canvas and individual counselling of the individual research groups on their IP strategy.  \nThese points will be presented using illustrative examples of start-up projects and with relevance for start-ups\, investor acquisition and company development.
